I usually buy my running shoes at Simple Shoes,
but decided to check out Fleet Feet last week to see what it's
all about DSW Shoes. I couldn't believe how busy it was. You
actually had to take a number (like in a deli!) to wait for
someone to help you. The woman who helped me was very nice and
knowledgeable. Apparently Simple Shoes are the wrong shoe for
me so I got myself a pair of New Balances that she said I ran
well in (she watched me run down the street in a few different
pairs of shoes). I went running today for the first time in my
new shoes and could definitely feel a different. From now on
I'll be buying all my running DSW shoes and other running gear
at Fleet Feet. I haven't actually
bought anything at Fleet Feet yet, but I went with my sister
yesterday so she could get a pair of running shoes. I was
pretty impressed with DSW Shoes. They don't have the amount of
options as Simple Shoes and some of the other stores, but the
sales associates at Fleet Feet really seem to know their
stuff. They helped her find a shoe that was perfect for her
feet and running Simple style. At first I thought it was a
bunch of BS, but I actually think they know what they are
talking about. |
