Holy snow! Today is the day that you wish you
had bought those nice winter boots! When the howling wind and
snow subsides, make sure you head here before the next
Nor'easter hits. For the first time in years, I had the
foresight to get a really good pair of winter boots... and I
got them at Rockport. Today they really held up. Rockport
shoes are about the most comfortable you can find... but don't
look like shoes your doctor would prescribe. I got cute tall
boots that answered the practical vs. fashionable conundrum.

I made sure to splash through some slushy puddles and not a
drop got through.

If you have the pleasure of reading this in the splendor of
summer... they have great summer sandals too that won't bust
open your feet on a cross-city trek. Prices are on the high
side.. but if you find a look you love.. go for it. The looks
are classic and the quality will have you wearing them for
years!Yeah, yeah, it's a chain, but
it's a GREAT chain. I have huge feet (size 12 to 14, super
wide and flat), and this is the only place I can consistently
find comfortable dress shoes. I bought a pair in October and
wore them down in six months of near-constant wear. When the
sole on the pair I got in April tore after 2.5 months, they
replaced them free, no questions asked. |
