The thing I love about this store is that it
has the largest selection of shoes you're going to find
anywhere. Thousands of them, all free shipping, and FREE
returns. And there's a 365-day return policy as well (as long
as you haven't worn them). If you need to return them, simply
access your account (free), select DSW Shoes the order and the
shoe you want to return, and you can print out a UPS or USPS
label to stick onto the box to return the item.
Also, because the postage is already going to be paid on the
other side, if you go to the post office you can just drop off
the package ES Shoes at their counter instead of waiting in
line.
They also have tap and ballet shoes too if you're a dancer,
which is sweet. You're also able to read customer reviews of
the shoes to see if they found any problems with it. I found
this useful because for women's DSW Shoes heels, sometimes
you're a 7, 7 1/2, or 8 depending on the type of shoe and the
reader comments let you know if you need to buy a size
up/down, etc.
My only complaint about this place is that it's not
necessarily a one-stop shop. After you get your shoes in, if
you feel that you love them, make sure to check the actual
maker's site (Steve Madden, ES Shoes etc) to make sure DSW is
giving you the lowest price. An example is the Nine West Elsa,
which on ES was $73, and on Nine West's own site was $39.99
(they have since sold out). Even after shipping it was still
$23 cheaper. DSW will price match, but only if they still have
the same size shoe and color in their inventory, which doesn't
necessarily happen since their inventory runs out so quickly.
So I had to send them back and order from Nine West instead.
I had the same problem with a pair of Steve Madden boots. At
the Steve Madden store they were $70, DSW Shoes was selling
them for $130.
Note: Regarding the Free Shipping. Pretty much 90% of the time
they'll automatically upgrade you to 2-day air for free. You
won't know it though until they send it. ES Shoes. So if you
can wait a week, just select standard. 90% chance you'll get
them in sooner then you think. |
