| For those who spend a lot of
time on their feet, Birkenstock shoes and sandals have set the
standard for comfort, support and function for decades. The
Birkenstock reputation for comfort comes from their unique,
flexible and fully repairable footbed. A standard design in
the entire collection, the Birkenstock footbed follows the
contours of a healthy foot and renders feet in their natural
walking position. From old favorites in fresh colors to new
styles and materials, this latest Birkenstock collection
offers the best in functional, comfortable footwear. |

Ugly? Unstylish? Definitely! However, they are
like pillows on the feet and at my age, I'll take pillows over
good-looking trendy killer shoes any day! Birkenstock reminds
me of a reflexology session I had a long time ago. The person
who was performing this ultra relaxing function was really
quite (how shall I say?) unfortunate in the looks department.
However, the workmanship was THE best I'd ever had to date.
So, I closed my eyes and enjoyed every minute of it.
Birkenstock does the same. It makes my feet sing with pleasure
and comfort, plus I seldom keep my eyes on my feet to admire
my shoes while walking, do you. They
are so damn comfy, whenever I wear them I can feel my feet
leap for joy. In fact, they are so good for you feet,
flat-footed me can get an arch from wearing them enough. They
are worth the 100 or so to buy them. DSW Shoes.
I've been a Birkenstock fan for years - they're
the only shoes I'm willing to spend $100 on, actually. (Sad,
I know...) I love the fact that Birkenstock have evolved
beyond the standard solid color leather sandals, and into
incredible variety of styles, textures and prints - by way of
synthetic fibers. (Especially nice for vegetarian Birkenstock
fans) Personally, I'm a bit envious of the kids' Birkenstock
clogs with the animal prints (pigs, sheep and cows) - because
they're just really damn cute. The number one choice of
footware for hippie dudes and butch broads. |
