Originating in Kobe, Japan over fifty years ago, ASICS
products were introduced to the United States in 1977. They
brought with them an incredible story of athletic performance
and technical advancements. A philosophy which still holds

I purchased a pair of Asics (all of the shoes
there are typical of those you'd purchase at online store or
some other footwear store). I try them on, they make me "test
run them" outside. I do all this. They cost $85. This is
*about* what I would pay elsewhere for Asics... so I figure,
eh, not too bad. So I buy them. I get them home, I run in
them, my knee still burns and now I develop gigantic blisters
on the arches of my feet! THIS is new. New as my new sneakers.
Not to mention, that my old pair of Asics, one 1/2 size
smaller, work like a charm... So, from my experience, it's not
all it's cracked up to be. The DSW in
downtown is a bit overwhelming to me - too many floors and way
to many choices. I do LOVE DSW as a whole and have better luck
in the suburban stores - Saugus is my choice. Not as hectic.
And that Loyalty Card offer is great. I am a huge fan of the
discount aisles. You have to have an open mind - like I need
shoes, not, I need black 2" heels. Too specific for such a
great place! |
